Cracking the Code of Productivity: A Dyslexic’s Perspective on Time

Ever wondered about time? Being dyslexic, it’s like time has its own secret language. Mornings flash by while afternoons drag on forever. For me, 12-hour clocks are my lifeline; those 24-hour ones? Forget it. And don’t even get me started on reading analog clocks, especially when it’s anywhere from half-past to quarter to—it’s like a puzzle that takes me a good couple of minutes to solve.

But hey, let’s talk productivity. Early mornings work for me, diving right into tasks with my trusty To-Do List or tools like Microsoft Planner and the game-changer, Microsoft Loop. The kicker? If I head out for something midday, my productivity nosedives.

Speaking of tools, Microsoft 365 is my hero. Booking calendars, the trusty To-Do app, Planner, and that shiny new Microsoft Loop—all saviors for managing my time better. Of course, mind maps rock too. And my phone? It’s not just for texts; alarms and voice dictation save the day. Jotted down these thoughts for this blog in a snap using dictation.

Now, let’s get real. Sometimes, staying on the productivity train is tough. If it’s not in my diary, chances are it won’t get done. Unplanned days? Cue the distractions.

How do you do it? Share your wisdom.
